Perdomo Lot 23 traces its roots to a father-and-son farming project in Estelí, Nicaragua. In 2000, Nick Perdomo, Sr. and Nick Perdomo, Jr. began developing the fertile land that would become the foundation of this cigar line. Much like a single-vineyard wine, Lot 23 centers on the character of one growing site, using Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos cultivated exclusively on the same plot. Aged for five years before blending, these tobaccos reflect the farm’s distinct origins and the Perdomo family’s hands-on involvement from cultivation through blend development.
Perdomo Lot 23 Connecticut pairs a five-year-aged Ecuadorian Connecticut-shade wrapper with equally aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Selected from higher primings, the wrapper contributes a rich creaminess that balances the robust character of the Nicaraguan blend. The profile is smooth and rounded, with subtle notes of cedar and honey lingering on the finish.
Perdomo Lot 23 Sun Grown brings a nutty character and mellow spice to an all-Nicaraguan blend. A higher-priming Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper surrounds Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, with each component aged for five years. The wrapper’s smooth spiciness complements the robust tobacco beneath it, while subtle cedar notes mingle with the blend’s nuttiness and carry into a gently spiced finish.
Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro balances the rich sweetness of its Maduro wrapper with a robust foundation of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos. The higher-priming Nicaraguan wrapper, binder, and filler are each aged for five years before coming together in this layered blend. Its complex flavor profile is accompanied by pronounced aromas, with mocha notes and a touch of spice rounding out the finish.
